Culturally relevant social work in Oceania: Reflections and perceptions

INTRODUCTION: This article presents reflections of junior staff and final year students at a regional academic institution based in Oceania. Reflections are on the theme, “What culturally relevant social work Oceania context encompasses.” METHOD: The were gathered as part talanoa (discussion) evaluation focused same theme an international symposium, where participants. Even though also included service stakeholders, this primarily focuses from university. FINDINGS: add to recommendations for education Culturally respondents meant that curriculum needed be inclusive alternative forms assessments; encouraging use Pacific language; advocating more scholars education; promoting collaborations with other organisations institutions; and, most importantly, making hub is research informed.
